How to obtain a digital copy
After filling in your e-mail address and submitting the request, a personalized copy of Distributed Systems will be prepared and made available to you on this site. You will shortly thereafter receive an e-mail containing the URL from where the book can be downloaded. This should normally take no more than 5-10 minutes. The copy will be available for 24 hours.
The latest digital version of the book is 3.03; it contains minor corrections of version 3.01 and 3.02. Version 3.03 now also includes a (rather simple) index. The latest printed version is 3.01. Versions 3.02 and 3.03 have slightly different page layouts. Please indicate which digital version you want.
Please make sure that you provide a valid e-mail address. If you have not received the URL after 15 minutes or so, please first check your spam folder. I generate personalized copies once every 5 minutes and have noticed that mail deliveries can be slow. If the download did not succeed, please drop me a note.
Privacy statement
Your e-mail address will be used for returning a URL for your copy and for helping retrieve lost copies. After a few days, it is securely hashed so that I can keep statistics, but it is computationally close to impossible for me, or anyone else to restore the original address.
Printed version
A printed version (3.01) can be obtained for $35.00 through Amazon.com. This newest digital version (3.03) contains minor corrections.
